When you're staging, reverse it just a little bit. Once you launch it, triple tap the clutch in each gear. You'll hear the revs climb and the car will speed up visually. It takes a little practice to get it right, but you can shave a second off your time just doing that.
That sucks that MCO is going offline, I was going to reactivate my account also.

 

I used to play Motor City Online all the time at T61's house ... he told me the game got shut down ... becuase I was thinking about getting it .... like every holiday you get cash or a car bonus ... pretty sweet ass game.

 

i played Midnite Challenge untill they started charging you to advance past skill 6. Had a S7 that ran 8's, a Viper that ran low 7's and a AJR Ek9 that ran low 9's.

The difference between MCO and MC is that MCO took skill to run your 1/4 times. You have to stage, launch, shift... everything.
