try o2 senser my hatch was doing the same thing and i changed the o2 senser and no problem since

had the same problem with my car. No spark or anything once it died and had the jumpy idle too. Ended up being a bad ground and spark plugs. So try cleaning ALL the grounds and check the plugs.
