On saturday at NOPI in Bristol there was a black one with a boost controller that Dynoed 241 at the wheels.

a guy i work with was at NOPI...he saw the dyno pull....along with the supra that broke the dyno...the neon had a MBC, hittin 19psi....thats pushin it! its gonna make big pieces into little pieces!

Uhh... no. You chose correctly.

STR4's may be a great car for drag racing, but where I live we have turns in our roads.

If I were to buy a new car strictly for drag/street racing, it would probably be a STR4 though. Too much potential for too little money to pass up.

But, to repeat my first statement - you chose correctly.
