I went to court today because of the samething. It's a $75 dollard ticket I did not want to pay. The cop pulled out his meter and it read .04%. I moved here from miami and the car came with it. I said to myself that if I ever got pulled over for the tint it would come off. I actually like my car more with out the limo tint.

Its all up to you. Pay the $75 or take it off. I took it off and the charge was dropped. Make sure to provide pictures of you taking it off for the courts. it worked for me.

 

cant you just have one picture of you taking off the tint and use it everytime you get a ticket? lolz

 

^^ i'm doing that right now.. this is my second time going to court with pics. but i think im going to downgrade it to 35%.. maybe that will be better.. becasue its 20% but 14 under meter.. and it really does look too dark.. like real suspicious.. thats why they love my whip. and NItch... what % do you have? if i get 35% all around you think they will ever even pull me over?

you knew it was illegal, you knew you could get ticketed for it, but yet you bitch about getting a ticket for it. Might as well shoot up right in front of the cop lol.. On a side note, every car ive had has been 20% ive never been pulled for it, ive had officers say i can tell its illegal and you need to do something about it but never been ticketed. :knocks on wood: My new cars the tahoe and civic are not tinted, the civic isnt because of rules at the track and the tahoe well... she will get tinted to 20% when i get around to it. and yes if i get a ticket i wont be on a public forum bitchen because i got a ticket over something i knew damn well was illegal

From what I understand, the legal limit is damn near like having no tint at all. I was gonna tint my windows but decided not to. I say check what the legal limit is, get that done, let the shop get rid of the old stuff. OR just go tintless.

Some of you guys need to ease the fuck up lol. We're not all perfect "street law" obiding citizens either.
