Future Prospect; thanks for the info, I'll order a UTEC tomorrow. I was kind of leaning that way since every thing Ive read so far says the UTEC was developed for the WRX, and I can't afford a MOTEC.

UTEC is the shit... ALOT of people have it or are getting it, so many people can help you out with it. While you're waiting for it, you should memorize the manual. I can't stress how important the information in that manual is for successful tuning.

no prob.

make sure you get the cooresponding Gauges along with your utec. It has a Dashboard where it has all the gauges youll need but its kinda hard to look at little numbers on a laptop while you are blazin down the road in 3rd, 4th gear.

also...to tune for fuel, i suggest a wideband sensor. though Egt and Knock is *enough* a wideband will provide you with a more accurate ratio than UTECs'.

DYNO TUNE WHAT!!!
