to the OP are you sure that the carbon fiber hood will be lighter than an oem honda one? Sometimes the OEM will be lighter, and well it will surely fit better.

Here is the fitment of my VIS hood before having to f^ck with it majorly. I havent driven this car in over a year, I'm sure it is in much worse condition now than it was in the pics.

Go with VIS, i used to go to the owner of Seibons shop all the time back home when he had a shop there and they always sold CF stuff for cheap, meaning that it wasn't perfect. then again they also had quality stuff too, its just a roll of the dice and a personal preference.

I have a ViS INvader hood as well....fitment was beautiful....the hood sat a tad high on the driver side...but it was due to a structural error on our part...with a slight adjustment, virtually seemless

I had the VIS with the vent like that NX posted, and while it was far from the light hoods my friends had, the quality was impressive as hell IMO.

The guy on here with the silver prelude has the hood now, not sure if he still has the car or whatever.

No ricer jokes, I was like 17.

First hand experience would be best but I'm open to any thoughts or suggestions.
What's wrong with your hood now? Faded? Cracked? Warped? If it's only faded, it CAN be fixed rather cheaply.

Cracked down the bare fiber in numerous spots with pieces of it missing. Chipped on almost every outside edge and actually broke into two pieces by the passenger side hood hinge.

If it was just faded, you can sand them down and re-clear it again right?
