which motor is in the SS trailblazer? is it the exact same as a corvette? they say vortech on them.. i know someone that just bought a whole ss trailblazer that was in a crash and hes going to put the motor in somthing.

Incorrect... this motor has been in the Escalade for a long time. It's jus an LSX w/ a larger bore and better heads. Ther is no inherent issue w/ the motor. If there were, then there's issues w/ all of the LSX family.

the LS3 is a horrible POS engine... good luck to all of those that get one

I'm a perfectionist, but to me, the quality went south on this one (IMO) and they experimented on new parts with a vette engine, that could have easily been performed in a truck GEN engine
Various tests, from low speed part throttle testing to full out raceway testing (simulated track testing).

I am not here to argue who is right and wrong or what internet forum I got the info from. I just got it right from the horses mouth who gets paid to test and build these engines and gave his honest professional opinion.
