A cop friend of mine told me that if you leave it on your windshield it can decapitate you in a crash. I think he said he saw a picture or something.

My old Jeep had it mounted on the windshield frame. I was stopped a couple of times for it but never cited for it once they realized where it was.

There are a lot of things you can do without mounting it to the bumper. You can have it hanging below the bumper, mounted in the grill, hanging off the hood...it doesn't matter as long as it is mounted at the front of the vehicle.

Yeah, I have it mounted to my grille now.

Go to court with a picture of it on the front it will be dismissed

I had the plate ticket along side a 102/55 ticket and a evading ticket. The judge just dropped the plate ticket because there was no evidence lol.
