JHPUSA HAS EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I've never had an experience like this from them. The only complaint I normally here is about their prices. I've ordered a couple things that turned out to be backordered and they called me later that day to let me know and make sure I still wanted to make the order, and they never billed me until they shipped the part out.
i have ordered from them a few times, it is a toss up everytime.... Also when they send it to the wrong address and gets sent back to them, u have to repay shipping to get it to the right address (i typed in the right address and it was my CC billing address so i dunno how they fucked that up)
that's pretty slack service.
still, i've bought from them before. largest/most expensive order was a swap and never had any problems. i've only ever dealt with the owner, sheng. he seems like a sincere enough individual.
no matter the outcome, you should still give him a buzz and tell him you're disappointed. that's the only way he'll know his employees (perhaps only some) are retarded.
step up and make your voice heard...with good manners and see what happens.

You were probably being a dick and/or smartass to the guy. Yeah he gets paid shit salary and gets calls all day from morons who don't know the difference from a wrench and a screwdriver. He's there to help you and do his job by answering your questions, not kissing your ass and feeling bad for you + offering extra shit for your inconvenience. Last time I checked, it's the managers who run the business, and it's their job to feel sorry for you, not the customer service reps. They are there to get paid and get out. I understand your frustration, but next time I suggest immediately requesting to talk to a manager or something instead of bitching out a standard service rep, most of the time they couldn't do anything for you even if they wanted.
