LS/VTEC?

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
Do you really not like ls/vtec? Your joking right. I think Honda should have made these type of motors in the first place. Its got great torque for the displacement and well I know my vtec engages strong as hell. It pulls so strong and its so quick even without hitting vtec I can pull off on people.

Superchargers on hondas are a waste of money.
and swapping a gsr block for an ls block is just as stupid, even more so for boost with aftermarket pistons and rods.

Yeah that's true but I like the instant response and the low to mid range torque. I like the way it makes the engine feel like a larger displacment engine and that sound is crazy!

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
When I had my gsr I loved it specially when I had it tuned right. It was quick also but the set up I have now is quicker. I am also running with a lighter body. But I like turns also so going fast in a straight line isn't as important as being able to handle well. I'm in pursuit of form and function. I want a well balanced car for weekend track events. And a reliable daily.

Honestly though, the gsr block is superior to the ls and with the money it takes for th ls/vtec you can proably make your set up faster and don't forget good tuning. What kinda engine management you use makes a difference and who tunes it.
