Damn bro sorry to hear about that. Wish you brought the car to my shop Stock or modified bodyworks. Also u have the right to bring your vehicle where ever shop you want. Insurance companies always say these dealerships are all preferred shops when all they are is a production shop. Each tech works on multible cars and dont really care to much about that car they're more worried about what car they'll get next. This is for some techs not all by the way. Same for the painters. They are all being pressured cause they cant always handle the work load so they rush. I try to schedule each job on how big the job is so my guys can focus on each car one at a time. Well I hope they finally got your car back ok, if you ever have any questions please call us

usaa is good about compensation, even on really late model cars, I wrecked an integra when I was a teenager and they sent out an adjuster to survey the damage, he wrote it up for all new oem parts(didnt have to do that), and my check arrived shortly after. Always go with a custom shop or at least a painter you know.

thats real funny only because my roommates radiator blew like a week ago after which he brought his elantra over to a ford dealership. they took three days longer than they said it would and when finally he got it back, they had somehow gotten coolant all over he engine bay!

I just brought my car to SoM for an un-related door ding. They do a good job.

But like I said earlier I could have brought it wherever I wanted, but if I chose a non-approved center I would not get the USAA lifetime replacement deal.

Probably used a non-OEM radiator like in my case.

Production body shops are generally average to below average as the normal moron doesn't notice shit work. The best production body shop in the area is Phillips Mercedes.

Whenever getting insurance work done you shold do a full inspection of the work in inside light and outside before ever taking the car. If it's not perfect you do not have to accept it.

so true. I recommend photographing the entire car, all angles, as well as the interior. if the suns all blocked and you cant get any reflection try an led light with an opaque green paint over the lens as a diffuser. I once took a car to Halls auto collision repair place, and they wouldnt install some shit i wanted, just like the situation with fiziks. So I was like ok, eat a dick, Im taking it elsewhere. When I go to pick it up, it had been clipped on the back bumper, and their employees stole my shift knob and floormats(not kidding). I know it was their employees because I only gave the the ignition key, and my door key is different, so someone took my keyless entry remote home, came back at night, and had fun trying to take my wheels with custom luglocks(did i mention they tried to take those too?). I got Hall to cut me a check for $350 after I provided photo proof that said items were on the car, and that the only way it happened without the door being jarred from a wedge+sjim or a broken window was if they had the remote I had given them.

My panels were painted by CF BMW, then installed by Beach Ford. The paint is pretty thin and has already chipped in some places, worse than the 10 year old original paint.
