car wont go above 3500 rpms
ok, i did a zc swap in my 90' crx dx... so i had to do the mpfi swap...
i originally had some wires switched around, and it wouldn't start... so if your car is starting, you did the mpfi swap right...
id check the ecu itself and watch the red blinky light (its actually quite aesthetically pleasing... just staring at it...)
but find the code, i.e. 4 red flashes means code 4... if theres a long pause and then it blinks, say 5? then you have a code 4 AND a code 5...
i dont know off the top of my head what each code is, but once you get them... we can go from there

if you dont have a good connection where you change the connection at the ecu when doing the mpfi swap the car will still start but will give you the same symptom and not rev over 3500 i had that same problem after doing mpfi swap and the connection was just bad at the ecu
The TPS can cause this problem as well. Pull your codes from the ECU, pull the passenger carpet back and let us know how many times the red light flashes and get back to us.
