go with the cleanest of the two.. neither of the two motors are really strong, but if you are dead set on modding it the way it is, then the ex has a lot more potential... but get the cleanest and drop a motor in it

 

haha chahonda i know you would show up and foil my statement :P anyways tell us on what you plan on doing with the car, so we can give you a better suggestion. i think everyone on this post agrees however to pick the cleanest. whats the paint like as well on both cars? paint is one hassle you dont want to deal with...

 

Well...If you want four doors and performance go with

LX = LS Swap + Turbo. then you can haul ass around, and people in the back can get out easily...thats what I've got planned anyways.

 

actully the 4 door is a little lighter and i had my 4 door lx running 13's with very little money

 

who says the 94 ex is a coupe? i like the styling of the coupes better, so if it is, then i'd say go with the ex coupe. plus a sunroof is nice, who cares about the 200 or so pounds, it doesn't sound like you're gonna be taking it to the track.
