So, you have a driveway, but no garage or backyard to put it in? Or possibly on one of the sides of your house?

the bike will not tip over or fall off a rear stand; assuming you correctly use it.

complicated. i live in a shit townhouse that allows no access to the back yard unless through the house. obviously no garage either.

and it will probably get more fucked up in the house with my 2 kids fucking around than falling down in the driveway. seriously, in the house is not an option.

yeah i didn't put much thought into what i'd do with it during the winter months when i bought it.

My suggestion would be to put it as close to the house as possible lenghtwise to limit the amount of wind it'd be exposed to. Also park it so the kickstand's on the lowest side, and tie the cover as tight as possible.

seriously, thanks. i know it's common sense, but i probably wouldn't have thought of this without your advice, and that's really all i was looking for.

i needed a stand anyway for maintenance.

a rear stand will not fix your problem. if the bike has been lowerd then you need to cut the kickstand to have a better lean angle. I can cut it and reweld the foot back on...
