i spent 700 at maaco and did all the prep work and body work myslef. (also did the door jambs) Came out GREAT and I was VERY happy.... minor over spray, but no orange peel.....
Maaco seems to be VERY hit or miss most of the time. The biggest issue people I know have with them is their lack of prep work. I see cars all the time with overspray everywhere and you can tell the car was not prepped correctly.
Save your money and get a reputable shop or person to do it. Youll thank yourself later.

that diesel looks familiar, think we did some work for the guy that owns it a few years back.
pretty much...i shouldnt have bought the damn thing. i traded a bmw in for it. but i dont wanna go out and spend 2-3k on a paint job. or if anyone on here paints, and wants to give me a deal. i have an ar-15 i could trade for a decent paint job, and maybe some cash to go with it
Please please please, do not trade a gun for a paint job......think man, think!
its cool man...im sure the "so called cheaper jobs will be done in some ones garage...with no booth...cheapest materials they can find....AND THE BEST PART IS they wont stand behind their work..so when it starts peeling in a year or so beacuse of shitty prep work and shitty materials ...guess what???your shit up the creek...
