Needs decent work, motor work needed a plus

I'd like for it to be titleable.

So if motor work being needed is a plus, would you rather have a relatively clean rolling shell without the motor for little to nothing if I can find one?

Seems like never.I just don't have any time after I work on other people's stuff.

If most of the other stuff looks decent,I'd save it.You can easily replace either/both case halves-you just have to check and reshim the shafts and diff.

I haven't been looking, but when I was looking for my car I did find several close, cheap non-M cars.
