lens restoration is very simple. autozone makes a kit that works really well. i used it to clear the ones im taking apart. all it is is like light sandpaper and some cleaner with like buffing pads you can use on a drill.

or minty toothpaste works too... actually suprisingly well

I painted my headlights....all you do is put them in the oven at 200 for 10 mins or so....that way they dont get to hot to quick....you can also leave the wires in just not the bulbs....

i did mine at 350 for 10 min. no problems. ive found rubbing compound works the best for yellow headlights.

Try less heat and add more if you need to. That is a better realization than you used too much and need new headlights.

but another quick question
would it also work with foglights? has anyone tried this?
my driver side foglight has like an inch of water in it.... i know
it seems like the lens may be loose
i was thinking about putting it in the oven, popping off the lens, and resealing it
any input?
