fwd bluebird motor sets are not rare, use that motor and tranny and build the sr20 just like any other sr20. if you try to inversely mount an inline 6 its a long ass motor and i dont think you could mate a tranny to it and still fit it in the engine bay especially not in an mr2. good luck though.

its not hard at all to do.. volvo was first person to produce the fwd transcersely mounted inline 6
