i was gonna say that too. im not aware of any way besides paperwork to prove that a k20a is an "r". or dyno sheets i suppose. but at least it has minimum 200bhp. compared to the original 160bhp that comes factory in these slow ass cars. honestly even if every single thing this guy says is true. its still not worth 20k...

Thanks for all the replies

@dyoungin' yea I've seen FG's and FA5's for around that price but Im a big fan of the Ep3. I like hatch.

@Crnchy wen Blac Im not sure about the spoon valve cover, but I got a friend of mine who knows a lot about spoon products and he says the mirrors are legit. and I agree not a fan of the blue wheels either, was planning on selling them and getting somthing else.

@boredom from what I understand Type R is a K20A and I checked the engine stamp and thats wat was on it

What do you guys think would be a reasonable price cause I would really like to purchase it.

from what i understood k20a can be different motors. the "jdm" version of every motor made in america has no number after the letter on the engine code. like with the h22a. they make one with 200bhp. and one with 220 that they call the type s. i was under the impression that it was impossible to tell the difference....

the most i would pay for it is 15k. but i really dont like them so idk. if all the shit is real. and its an "r" then its well worth that. but i dont think any more than that is acceptable.

b series vtec motors from japan have to number at the end of the code. the k series still retains the number to differentiate between what car they came out of
