Had a friend have the similar problem his fix was flipping the tang on the distributor. The dizzy he had went in both ways when typically they are only supposed to go in one way. Was the motor that was in the car before a usdm h?

check fuel pump and timing belt my frieds h22a just had tht problem no spark we replaced dist, plugs, wires and coil and main relay nothing changed listend to fuel pump no sound and pulled valve cover off and timing belt snaped new belt and fuel pump cranked right up
