Purchased a used car. Seller falsely advertised.
Post the screenshot. If he advertised it as such, and it is not (depending on the wording of the ad) you MAY be able to recover something. As said before though, probably not going to be a huge recovery unless you can bully him in to workIng with you.

Virginia is a buyers beware state. You have no rights or grounds to do anything. The only safe guard Virginia has, is for vehicles being sold with a salvage title. All sales are as-is-where-is unless stated otherwise. Looks like a nice car so who really cares.

I purchased the car in Maryland if that makes a difference. The Seibon hardtop is about $2100-$2600 more than most Mugen style hardtops. It's looking like it may not be worthwhile hassling this kid for a partial refund. But who knows. I did buy the car way below KBB value in fair condition.
