Re: Looking for a good mechanic Roanoke Va area
Well the problem is I cant install the stage kits without the tune on the pcm it wont run cause it will have alot bigger injectors for the smaller pulley on the supercharger.Thats why I'm still stock lol its a pain in the butt.I might just have to wait till it starts to snow and I have some time off work cause I can install the stuff if I get the pulley puller injectors are easy to get to just rather a shop do it all have a little peace of mind.

I was thinking the hp tuners software wasn't that pricy...you could just get it yourself and slap the base tune on. NM, 500 bones! Yikes
Or, depending on the injector install difficulty, you could do everything but the injectors, and just have the tuner stick those in before he tunes it...

Speaking of pulley pullers, what have/are you going to use because last time I pulled a pulley off a supercharger I couldn't find a correct kit. So, I used a combo of alternator and water pump pulley pullers it sucked but worked

Injectors are one clip to get each one out really simple as far as the pulley puller they have one for my car for 20 dollars I was gonna buy if I did it myself problem with installing is when I put the smaller pulley on I need the bigger injectors but without the tune my car doesnt know this and wont supply enough gas making it not run.

So long as you stay out of it, ie no foot to floor action, baby it around, it will be fine to get you to the tuner.

Re: Looking for a good mechanic Roanoke Va area
I contacted a gm rep about getting these gm dealers to do there job lol all the gm dealers around me are suppose to be able to do the tune so If I can get them to do it I can install and get them to tune it save the 3 hour drive for a 5 minute drive.
