Who actually does there own work?
Well my car has never seen the light of a shop thats for sure. Thats why they rent shit at taylor do it center. If i haven't done it its been done in my garage by a friend that can do it properly. Ive dropped two sohc motors aand an LS swap. Numerous brake, spring strut changes. Intake manifolds, custom stereo, tvs, painting, nitrous installs...done it all. Thats the excitement of being into tuning....oh well if you cant get to work in the morning cause you lost a dowel pin....thats life!!
There's currently only one car in TTE that gets worked on in a shop, mainly because it is sponsored. The rest is done by members of the team. The only time mine saw a shop was for custom exhaust and I/C piping. So, I'd consider us self sufficient.
I dont do audio whatsoever( My bro takes car of that). I've never done wiring before till now and I never wanted to touch a wiring harness, till I actually got down and started messin with it, not too bad. Other than that I do it all myself, unless I need something fabricated or its something I dont have the tools to do(Which Ill leave to Millennium).
excuses hahaha. Didn't know you need all your boys to work on your own car, the shit i have done its been just about all by my self. Maybe advice from online people but no one looking over my shoulder.

thanks dad.
I paid 750 for Acura rotors, brake pads, lines and labor.
Add it all up partner, you do the math.
didnt say anything about new lines in your post....who the hell needs new brake lines on a 2002rsx?
I guess the price doesn't matter much to you since you didn't pay it.
Anyway, I love working on my car.....when im finished, ahah but during the wrenching man damn i hate that shit....I dont have a lot of patience, and not very often does anything go as planned. Best feeling is when your done though.

and when doing a brake overhaul with new rotors etc, it would be kinda stupid not to replace the lines while everything is apart?
your logic is astounding, I worship the ground you walk on.
