This is the one of Moticello Ave? Their website doesn't list Joe Weber as a current artist.

He just recently moved to there from evolve.

I'm guessing their website just hasn't been updated.

I'm imagining that if this is a couple thing and done on vacation its not going to be too difficult of a piece?

What I was getting at is most of these people are going to toss out very decent names in the area and most of which have long waits for their next appt. I think gabe at one point have had like a 3 month wait. Spur of the moment easy pieces often get passed down to the new guy/gal. Didn't want you wasting your time cainh the big names at the better shops only to hear they've got no openings.

Yeah, it's a super last minute decision, and we're not dead set on it, so if we can't get it done by someone who was recommended, we probably won't do it at all.

I really appreciate all the input in this thread, some good info here.

Tommy Altman @Trinity did my wife's latest, as well as 2 of her friends', and they all look good. Prob easier to get in there than with Marshall @ Studio Evolve.

well from what i learned from the tattoo guys up here is. Walk-ins is their bread and butter. they can charge someone ridiculous amount of money for some ugly olde english collarbone piece (last time i went i saw some guy pay 450 for a 20 letter piece, talk about mind blown) but he's like we like the walks in cause we can bank on them, then you loyal guys can get the work done for reasonable price. also the shops i go to tend to do walk ins on the weekend and appointment only during the week.

I'm sure when time allows they'll knock em out but with the huge population of squids and the like here places seem to stay busy. Last I heard a out evolve was they're still by appointment only. Not saying its impossible to get a last min/walk in by some of the people posted in here but it won't be terribly easy either.

I'm straight, I've got something set up with Joe Weber at Mistique. Thanks though.
