I agree that 600s can run with 750s, what im saying is that he can get the 750 and be happy for a while and then mod it and be as fast as a 1000 whereas a 600 can never be as fast as a 1000.

I love all the newer 600cc bikes 2000 up............. they are all pretty fast.. like everyone said 1000 is too much bike for someone new

its all good, but i still think a heavily modded 600cc bike can out run a stock 1000

look into 01-04 Suzuki GSXR 600's, 99-02 Yamaha R6's, 2000+ Kawasaki ZX6R's, and of course Honda's anywhere from the F3, F4, and F4i models. if you got the $$ to spend buy newer, or, go for old bikes in the 95-98 range.

what about an early 90's gsx, called a katana or something? its 600cc, but an old model so its pretty slow... love the looks of them
