He has already looked into it and you are using a what if scenario. I drove my car last year in the snow and never hit anyone.

I'm not worried about his (or your) driving skills. Can't do much when your car is parked and someone hits you though.

Adding my beater truck lowered my insurance by almost $200/year since a sports car was not my daily driver. Yeah, adding a vehicle actually lowered my total insurance bill.

I personally hate driving the VCU area when the weather gets bad. Same with the "Minvan Alley" of Short Pump -- between I-64 exit for W.Broad St and the mall.

When driving the truck in bad weather, I make sure to leave the extended trailer box hitch in as a joust for tailgaters who can't tell how long it takes for their cars to stop. The paint on the end of that iron spear displays the fact that it works well in protecting my rear bumper.

i too, am gonna go backwards....when i move to lousiana...i plan on getting rid of the stang, and getting something slower...maybe mid to high 12s so its still pretty quick on the street. but im pretty much over the shit.
