hahaha, that was my boy brandon.....yes, his mommy and daddy bought him that car as a graduation gift. (well, are making the 1st years payments)

it's bone stock, he just got those wheels about a month ago....

he was telling me about running you yesterday. said he had you, but in 5th (i think) you started creeping up and gaining on him.

 

he had me? did he mean to say he jumped me?

that's funny because we were playing cat and mouse games, then I decided it wasn't really going to progress into anything so I shifted into what I recall being 4th gear just kinda cruising beside him... he takes off, I downshift, he doesn't pull after that initial distance he jumped me by.. then I creep up and up and up until I'm pulling past him. After 120, my girl decided that was enough and started nagging at me about how stupid that was, so we shut it down.

not to blow things out of proportion, but if he had me.. he wouldn't mind running me again on film would he?

how would this guy manage to be in 5th gear at 120mph? does that sound right to you guys?

i have run (in the stock gears...) 122 in fourth, and that was bout 6500 rpm, last i can recall. now i am lucky to get 132 out of fifth...although i havent tried

i love my gears though, at 65mph, i am at 3400 rpm....which is PERFECT for a WOT run...cause as soon as i snap the throttle...i am at full boost. debating on a new turbo to make the most of that....

 

Let me know when this happens....

Not talking bad about you, but I can't let a fellow WRX owner go down like that. So if you beat him, I want to run you after that. Us Subaru owners have to stick together....

 

Yep and like cosmo said we wrxers are tight knit but, (no disrespect to you or your car at all ) I think we are a little bit out of his class. I say we turn Travis loose on him first if he can beat a stock wrx.
