the ctr/type r cams will be your best bet in a mild or stock street motor they may not make peak numbers but they make good low to mid numbers and yes replace your valvetrain even with the type r cams

the only thing about that is, it wouldnt run any harder or even as hard as a b16b......... Is the ITR cam more aggresive than the CTR?

No, the CTR itake cam has a higher lift and I believe a tad more duration on the "high cam" when compared to the ITR intake. The exhaust cams are the same.

And no, it won't run any harder than a b16b. Too many other small factors to consider.

ctr and itr cams would be perfect in a B16.if you are looking for a good upgrade without spending more than $600, go with ctr/itr cams and just run type r springs and retainers.(they must work pretty good it they come in the damn motor the cams came in lol)

Same lift, 3 more degrees of duration on the intake.
