can you make my speedometer work? and my tach. i've been told they wont work becasue my ecu is a rb25 ecu and it's all kilometers not miles. if any one can do this please help!

ive got a third gear grind.. ive been told its somewaht common for gs-r trannies and type r trannies and that its the synchro. how can i tell? and if i get the synchro can you install it?
