The speedometer needle jumping or not woking sounds like a Vehicle Speed Sensor to me. I would take it out and make sure it is dry. I had the same problem and the V.S.S. connector had traces of water in it.

thanks opsi..that was the problem...i just wanna know whats up with my tranny/clutch i never had a slippage that bad, and my clutch aint slippin on top of that
