Yea I did that today. My boost leak seems to be due to a VERY very small dent in my BOV flange, so my leak is my stupid turbo xs bov. I'm so sick of this stupid bov that I just want to buy a greddy type-s right NOW.

ANYONE SELLING A GREDDY TYPE-S TYPE-R OR TYPE-RS, PLEASE MESSAGE ME ON AIM: ELEMENTALWINDX. RIGHT NOW! heh...

Also I can't figure out where the fuck my coolant is going to : I've poured 3 gallons into this bitch and it still disappears leaving no water on the ground. When I increase the throttle, you can see the water get sucked into the pipes and go dry.

Ummmm a boost leak on your WATER return line? WTF are you talking about.

And if you wanna know if you have a blown HG check your oil.

I can't really tell with my oil. It's clear, brand new oil, had to change my oil when I did my turbo install. If theres tiny bubbles in the oil I suppose that can count for a blown hg?

no, it's very easy to tell with your oil. It'll look like a damn milk shake.

Did you try the "male" way to solve this issue...DUCT TAPE !!

amd, me and garan both know duct tape doesn't work on my dsm...natural bridge proved that one lol...

Ppl told me about the oil mixin... water spewin outa the radiator cap....water in the spark plug holes...water flowing out the overflow bottle

None of those apply to me. Spark plugs are dry, no water spewin from the radiator cap, over flow bottle is perfect, doesn't even boil.

The water feed line has alot of pinches in it, and looks ghetto as fuck. I figured it might still work so I went ahead w/ the install instead of waiting around without a car for a new water feed line to come, so I used some of the heater hose I used for my oil return line, on the water feed line to connect them, but the rubber hose is pinched too cause of the angle of the two metal lines from the block and from the turbo, being close togeather. Whenever I took pliars to the clamp on the rubber hose, it would spray water out like it was pressurized. I'm thinking the clamps arn't holding down enough to keep the water from spraying out of the rubber part of the lines when I'm driving, because after I turned the car off, after driving 20min, I opened my hood and noticed a loud hissing noise coming from that rubber line, along with some water making its way out. I think tomorrow I'm going to worm clamp that rubber hose and see if that keeps it from leaking. Also I suppose I'll have to order a stock 2g water feed line and eventually take this pos turbo back off and replace that shitty water feed line. Anyone else agree?

Also the boost leak. I can't boost even 1psi, and the only leak I could find was at the place where the TurboXS flange connects to the TurboXS BOV. There is a little dent in the flange itself which is keeping it from sealing correctly. I even RTV'd the fuck out of it w/ layers of RTV and I still can't find any other boost leaks and still cannot boost even 1psi. This is killin me here. *sigh*

you would have to have a hole the size of a quarter for the problem to be a boost leak...tighten up your w/g.

It is tightened. Theres nothing going thru the hole to make sure it doesn't come off the metal piece, but it stays on there.

ermmm ok i correct myself...your the dsm god marshall.... lol I've never had to mess w/ an adjusable wg. It was stuck open thats why. lol. Once it cools down I'll close it, put the actuator back on, and take it for a spin.
