i was doin 50 in a 25 got a reckles driving ticket and got one day of driving school

 

well dude...you're goin to good ol' york county courts....i am soory to say but you're probably gonna get hammered...the fact that you were passing someone doesn't make a difference...u were goin 22 over....you can not excced the speed limit to pass someone....sorry

 

you'll be alright ...they tend to be more lienient to minors under 18. and if it is your first time to get a moving violation they'll prolly give u 6 months probation(meaning u have to be in good standing with dmv records) and a reduced speeding ticket. since ur 17 they might be like...you have to maintain a certain average in high school or somethin like that. but thats like the worst case scenario

 

i don't know why you say fuck the lawyer because for all four of my tickets i have got a lawyer and the only thing on my record is 59-50. So all this bull shit talk about fuck a laywer is guess is because you got the wrong one who didn't do shit for you. All i am doing is giving a suffestion that has worked for me.

Your young, you need to fight every ticket you get. Reckless driving is 6 points the last time I got one. I've had 3. Car insurance companies will kill you untill your an adult in their eyes. Can you rig your car and get your speedo calibrated ? Improper equipment is a pointless ticket. I'm not trying to scare you, but if this ticket does'nt get reduced to at least improper driving, & you get another ticket within 2 years, you will be paying outrageous insurance bills till your 26......

 

hey does National Motorist Association actually work? i hear a bunch of positive results from it. but im kinda skeptical...and plus you pay an annual members fee.

 

Screw a lawyer becuase this kid is a minor and its the first offense.. i understand if you drive a freking sports car and get a recklass at like age 20.. yeah, fight to the death with a lawyer.. but first offence.. and young.. it will be cheaper to go to driving school, pay the ticket, and have it done with

 

i was doing 89 in a 55 when i was 17 and the judge dropped it to doing something like 6 or 7 over. i had to take a driving improvement course and pay a fine.

 

York County courts are not that nice. Bring your transcript, dress up, and say yes/no sir or mam! And pray the judge is having a good day or your F@@ked!!
