yes it will, i did the same thing to my nissan. if its a honda it wont work, but almost anything else will.

I'm sorry, what's the expected life-span of a clutch? Mine has 200k miles on it, and was abused (and by abused, I don't mean high-revving speed shifts, I mean this shit was abused) for the past 30k miles. My stocker sitting next to me just hit 220k miles in his '87 Mustang GT on the stock clutch. You are right. Ford's clutches are shitty.
