No its not needed, but you must pay a $500 uninsured motorist fee.

the classes are backed up. but i signed up last friday showed up that night and got in. the waiting period to take your road test is 30 days but thats waved if you take the msf course.

I got quoted for liability and "wrath of god" protection (i.e. storms and well ummm.... theft) and it was 642$ a year. I took the Motorcycle Safety Course but do not know if that will give me a discount. Oh yeah I am 22 with a slight blemish on my record. I STRONGLY reccomend taking the MSF it worked out nicely for me!

i just paid $115 for the class to take it next week, (didnt preregister so maybe thats y it was more expensive) WOOOOOOOOOOOO so excited, been waiting since last fall to take the class, lol
