nice bike, im on the same page, I am taking my first bike apart and painting it and rebuilding a few things on it. I actually Have a 85 Kawasaki vulcan vn700 and I installed vn750 carbs and no muffler exhaust.
And yes Petcock is a funny work but I do have one on my bike that I already put a new one on it. How many miles on your bike. Im at only 9500 miles on a 22 year old bike. have fun maybe will see each other on the road some day.

Hi! I see ya read some of the thread but let me update ya. 
My husband gave my kz to some one else 
I am riding my 73 cb350F and I will probably have ever part changed out by summer at the rate she is going lol something keeps going bad on her but its an older bike and is too be expected...I am currently looking for a old honda cb750F to restore amd cafe out good luck with yours :0
