well actually i got that guy "randomtask" coming over this sunday to start on it.. and hopefully he said to have it done by next weekend...
but i gotta call around and see where to get the headgaskets and valves. etc...


any ideas???

I talked to your old man the other day and from the sound of it, its def a blown headgasket. If you wanna today disconnect the coils and just crank the motor over once or twice. Do this to prevent any stagnant water in the combustion chamber from causing some rust and locking the rings. Don't do it with the coils on as whens its running you could hyro-lock the motor.

I am however waiting for a call back, he said he had to talk it over with his wife and he would call me back but from the sounds of it, you guys are def planning on me coming over.

You did not say that before, and yea being that LT1's don't have coolant going through the intake, it would not be that. Good luck I hope the heads themelves are ok.

you can hydro-lock the motor with the starter dumbass. the only way to keep it from breaking anything is to take the plugs out, thats if there is water in the combustion chamber.
