it wouldn't be impossible, just harder to tune on the fly. you can order a custom chip and literally drop it right in and it's done, but with LT1s or LS1s you have a number of real time tuning products, such as LT1 edit, LS1 edit, HPTuners, etc. that would have more functionality than a simple ECM chip.

As with most car things.....your toys are only limited by your budget.

I could get teh LT-1 kit and the accessories for $3500-3800 + an engine.

Or

I could go with the LS-1 kit and the accessories for $4100-4300 + an engine.

I ve seen teh advantages of the LS-1 but the LT-1 is just best for my budget.

just wait an extra month or two and get the LS1. youre probably gonna have the car for a while so you might as well do it right the first time.
