i've already got 8 titanium plates and 34 screws holding my head together.... i think i'll wear my helmet.

 

i'd love to see it happen. it'd get idiots off the road after they get into accidents. Meh? ill always have mine on riding.

I love this arguement, do you really think that an EMT's sallary is going to go up if the law is repealed?

 

It costs money to clean up brains and entrails. If there were no helmet laws then the brain and entrail clean-ups would go through the roof, at least until the majority of the idiots riding without helmets got killed off. It might even out after than but it would cost a FORTUNE in the meantime.

If you don't want to wear a helmet, then don't wear one, you ARE given the option, I hope you know that.. It doesn't go without possible punishment (ticket/serious injury/death), but its your choice..

Noone is holding a gun to your head. If you are such a badass to not need a helmet, then what is a measly little fine, right?
