NEED HELP FINDING NEW PARTS FOR MY 06 GSXR!!!
It would make me an ass to go on and on about this like I have something to prove. And his bike will also be nothing like a 600, with the work he wants.
Thanks for all the advice and helpful links, anyone know where to find turbo kits for new gsxr 600'S?

ive actually contacted turbobikeresearch.com regarding a turbo manifold/intake manifold for it. they currently do not have anything available, and dont have time to make one, but he said he may be interested in doing a kit eventually. they did a kit on a 03, and made a bolt on kit for a 04/05 bike that you can buy for 3 grand. (turn-key kit from what i understand).
i would love to turbo mine, and ive actually been thinking of building my own kit. he offered to sell me a manifold flange for cheap to see if it fits the new bikes, and if it doesnt he said he would take it back without a restocking fee.
also, on the '06 bikes, the compression is higher, which would require more fuel and lower boost. the frame is wrapped so tightly around the engine, it makes plumming the intake so hard. also, where the turbo would sit is so tight, the turbo would sit so low, that it may be a problem with oil draining back into the pan. plus the fairings/radiator make it such a tight area to begin with.
i like the idea of turbo'ing the bike, and ive been looking into it for the past couple of weeks, but as of right now, its looking to be much more work than what its worth. if you are serious about it, check out www.turbobikeresearch.com and check out their 600 kits, theres even a video and dyno sheet of their 03 600 they built. i believe they gain ~40hp and ~15ft lbs of torque on 6psi of boost. not bad in my opinion...

I have a 04 gsxr 600 frame with a 1000 swap. The work was done by a good friend of mine on this board. I use to have alot of work done to my 600 motor but It will never run anywhere near to a 1000 with alittle bit of motor work and bolt- ons

you no longer have a 600...... or anything close to it. you would never to allowed to run in any '600' class of anything.
but i bet its fun as hell... any pictures?

Thank you. 3gturbo has done all the work to my bike. And I'm not to sure if I'm done yet.
