VT's carbed 4V intake

Al papito's carbed 5.4 intake on his 4V that makes 568 rwhp NA


With VT engines, Fox Lake and Boss 330Racing, MMR, MPH it isnt hard to make 380-425 rwhp with the 4.6 4v on motor. I think Nazman is making 450 with his 4.6 Big Bore kit.

 

What are they doing as far as spark control?

 

Not 100% sure, but I think some have used a distributor or fabbed coil brackets.

 

Yea, it's hard to tell in that picture. I'd love to build one.

I'd imagine that would work real well with the MSD digital 7 series ignitions. That'd be a great way to get into a 4.6L fox...wonder how much the intake costs? I've always wanted to build one...

 

VT Intakes go for around 500-700ish.

 

They used crank trigger and belt driven distributor with Scott's carbed motor. Jim's motor used a BigStuff3 COP system.
