So for some people who want to build a motor, why buy an ITR over a GSR when most of the ITR's bling-bling mentioned above would be removed anyways to use something better...why pay for it?

Ill just go and say I would rather have any ls1 car then any civic. Easier then starting a argument over stock ls1 vs swapped anything. Look on HT for a guy named Skunked he has a h22 da on the h2b running mid 12's on bolt ons and a slick.

I had a por man type r in my da and went 13.2's twice. ON azinas. It ran good and vtec hit harder than any other car I have ever felt. It blew up because i sold the car to a kid and he wanted to test what i said about it not having a rev limiter, well he never found it. The gsr block is a very strong block and can handle some revs. the b16 head is ok but you wont keep it together if you rev past 9. the type r head has much better valve train and can hand;e higher rpms.
