I have been on a few forums and most say that the CAI from Injen is a good addition. I think I could probably sneak that in under the radar! However, I am looking for a bit of fuel efficency because i have to travel 40 miles highway to and from work and that puts a slight pinch on the pocketbook. Considering my wrx was only getting 19-20 mpg, I'm hoping the G will do a little better!
Look into the Popcharger Intake made by Jim Wolf, too. It's usually preferred by most Z and G owners.

Hey Pearl. how much gas milege to you get to a tank? The salesman at the dealership filled it up with 87 oct and I asked if he should be putting at least 89 in it. Well Ive just about exhausted my gimmie tank and ive only got 308 on the trip odometer. Im hoping its gets MUCH better milege than that

320 est / 20 gal tank = 16 mpg

Does the G not give a digital reading of your gas mileage? I thought G's and Z's both had the same center gauges. I'm usually around 18 mpg, but that's during a boring driving experience. I never get what the sticker on my car said; 20-25 mpg... unless strictly on the interstate.

87 octane??? I know the 350Z and the G35 are both n/a cars, obviously.. but don't they require more than 87-89 octane?

Everything I own says strictly 92/93 octane.. even the BIKE!

If it does I havent found it yet! On the top pillar it gives compass, out temp, interior temp and whatevers on the HVAC. I think im gonna actuallyread the manual tonight

Im just assuming ill get more mpg with 93 oct or some booster. Lord... please dont let the price of gas go up!

Yeah its supposed to have 93 oct but we run the Murano on 89 and it runs fine and since they have the same engine if figured it wouldnt hurt until summer!
