Double-Clutching = Only used on non-synchronized transmissions, no real world application besides race trannys, semi's and ~70's and under trannys.
Heel-Toe = used to slow the car and change gears at the same time to keep a smooth transition through a turn.

-i guess cause us rotary guys gotta know our shit about the motor... and the rest of the BS is thrown in here and there and just picked up
-You guys make me glad to be a rotor head
i always thought that double-clutching was used to lengthen the lifespan of a clutch, like it you just rev the engine w/ the clutch in the clutch would burn up faster cuz ur making it catch a synchro that is not even turning, or am i just full of bullshit information

to me it is a waste of time if you have good synchros but this is how you would do it push in clutch put in neutral let out clutch rev engine push clutch back in put in gear rev match to the selected gear let clutch out you can do the samething upshifting if you wanted to but why you are just wasting seconds buy doing it. my two cents
