ummm, im by no means taking a cheap shot at drag racing...but personally i feel drifting is way more interesting to watch then drag racing. i mean, go in a straight line or slide around a course.

Look at about 320whp being the max on this turbo. Disregard boost pressure as a limit because turbochargers aren't pressure pumps as pressure is just resistance to flow. With supporting modifications on any engine, power output may be higher at a given boost level than it was before. Increasing VE is always the superior method of increasing power output..

I would think if you needed to push 22psi on a 2l engine to make 300whp, you need to seriously reconsider the approach you are taking on your car..

Basically, you should be able to make 320whp at 16psi on this particular turbocharger. I'd set boost to 16psi and then modify the setup until I reached 320whp.

thanks for everyones help, heres the setup i think im going with: 550cc injectors, fuel pressure regulator kit, and the enjukuracing.com ecu reflash, and of course up my boost to 15lbs. do you think i'll need to go with a new headgasket? like i said im looking for a RELIABLE 300whp.

the oem sr20det redtop one, i was thinking about getting a 1.0 metal gasket and arp head studs...but i think its overkill for only 15-16lbs of boost
