maaco paint job?
if you were to get it done anywhere else and it came out with orange peel that was noticable they would wet sand it and buff it or something to get rid of it or just re-do it if it was bad enough. me being the son of a car painter and on top of being a perfectionist and a neat freak when it comes to cars i notice imperfections in body and paint and stains in carpet and seats and things like that relatively quickly and it just annoys me sometimes. some ppl just settle for less. im okay with it to a certain point but SOME of the things ive seen from maaco just wouldnt cut it for me
I have had 2 cars painted by the fredericksburg Maaco. They turned out very good for a 200 dollar paintjob. The 1st car i did all the bodywork the only problem i had was alil overspray on some moldings. The 2nd car i told them about it and thier was no problems. I did'nt keep either car very long afterwards but until i sold them they looked very good.
They do have upgrades that you can purchase for about 650 you can get a base coat/clear coat. The cheap paintjobs are single stage.
All maaco does for the 200 dollar paint job is scuff the car, clean it and spray.
I'm gonna do all my bodywork and probably take my teggy thier this spring but i'm gonna spend alil more. I might let showoff a local from this board spray it he painted my EG really well but i expected more outta my bodywork but the quarters were mangled.

Got mine done in manassas, paid 500$ for primer and for them to weld/fill in the holes for my stock wing. Car has been painted for over a year and has no sign of fade or anyting.
i think maaco paint jobs are decent also...you do get wat you pay for and most dont know how to "properly" take care of the paint or pay too much attention to it so its not always their fault....
Hey OP, check out my car. It has been over 2 years, and my car is still shining like brand new. Most people have no idea that my paint job was THAT cheap. I strongly recommend the Maaco in Portsmouth in 757 to anyone. I have seen some pretty crappy maaco paint jobs, but the one in Portsmouth does GREAT work.

im not sure at all. i seriously pulled that out of my ass because i think i looked one time and think thats what i read. but im not sure
The one off of fullerton road near inline? I was recommended to NOt go there. Even tho it is macco, i heard the one off of fullerton road was the worse to go to. My friend had his hatch sprayed there and the paint was flaking off after like 6 months.
dude maaco does decent work...you get what you pay for....i had my old DA painted by maaco 4 years ago and that paint still looks brand new....hasnt chipped or peeled...people think if you dont spend a grand on a paint job it isnt good work....they color match the paint to almost perfect...if you want your car painted for cheap go there...like i said for 200 hundred bucks to have your whole car painted? if you ask me i dont know why more people dont go there...good luck
