I worked for Ancient Art for a year right out of high school. I haven't heard anything about Star City, but I think it would be hard to beat Ancient Art.

Ancient Art was full of cool artists back when they had the downtown Roanoke location...

Speaking of which, what's in that location now??? They relocated to 220, right?

That shows how out of the loop I am. I didn't realize they had moved. When I worked for them they were on 220, then moved downtown. I didn't realize they had moved again. Their web site says 5493 Franklin Road, but I'm not sure right off where that is.

Franklin Road? WTF? Hell, I don't know then...

Alex's and Star City are the only noteworthy places I know of on Franklin.

Speaking of which, I just got home from Star City. I had Katie pierce my lobes. Very cool people there.
