What does it matter what it makes at the flywheel? Just wondering since everyone keeps saying well at the flywheel/crank it makes xxxxx

He wanted a 500hp LS1, not a 500whp LS1. A 500hp LS1 makes about 425whp or less, depending on the drivetrain setup. That can be done on stock heads and bottom end.

Didnt notice he never mentioned wheel hp, just seems pointless to throw out crank/flywheel numbers when you still have a lot of shit behind that pushing your car around.
