I used to get 30mpg with my b16-turbo and I used to get into to boost around 1psi to get it moving.


Now I just drive a 88 Civic Dx and enjoy my good gas mileage.

In the Si. I just beat the shit outta it and say F gas mileage.

It only takes more fuel to start your car if it has a carburetor. With EFI now it is better to shut your car off.

Alright, so even if you managed to save gas by shutting off your car. I would believe that eventually you'll pay for repairs on your car's starting system since it was getting beat to hell. Imagine starting your car maybe, 100x a day, and continuing to do that for weeks/months. Wear and tear costs money too people.

I drive a Jeep that gets 12mpg. So no. Thanks for saving gas though everyone, it leaves more for me.

I go into neutral coming to stop signs and red lights, and I drive more close to the speed limite. Seems to help me a bit, I also took weight out of my car but I didnt make that much of a difference. I switched from wawa - shell which burns better and really helped my MPG.

I've always seemed to get mpg from shell. wawa though they dont even have 93 so would never run it
