Killer, you guys are awesome! Didn't expect so much input in just few hours.
I wish i could join NFCU but noon in my family is in the military.
Problem i have with Wachovia is , yes all debit card purchases and direct deposits post right away. But anything else dont show up for days, my available balance never matches the posted. Bank of American never did this to me but i didn't like their online banking layout and branches so switched.
Also wachovia did not approve me for a car loan last year when i had flawless credit and low debt ratio. I took that personal bc i've been with them ummm since they bought First Union bank whenever that was.
O and last year when i had to spend 2600 on an engine it took me hours on the phone to figure out that reason for them declining my cad was that there was a daily spending limit. So they had to raise it for 24 hours just so i could make the purchase.
....its a fucking checking account, my goddamn money ill spend as much of it as i damn well please!

Mattress Credit Union (MCU). No customer service problems. No hidden charges. Deposits/withdrawal 24/7 with 0 I.D. required.

Chartway CU here, used to use Countrywide Online Savings but gonna try and find a better interest rate, use to get a little over 3% with countrywide down to like 1 now
