Also the E brake is loose and floppin around screwin shit up (he quoted me for 480)

I've been trying to find aftermarket parts to fix the toe bar and e brake but I'm clueless! Someone help me out..
Toe bar on an MR2 is the one of the rear trailing arms. Mine too was bent on my AW11. This usually happens when someone lifts the rear of the car with the arm, the rear is the heaviest point in the car and unlike FR/FF layouts it'll bend the arm easily. Find a set from the junk yard or something, and change the bushings while you're at it. I did it with a hammer and a socket, not hard at all.

You need to be more specific with what was told to you about the brakes/hub. I'm not sure what's wrong and what he told you.

Okay I just re-read the first post. So the brake won't hold the car? If the e-brake cables are lose that's not going to help. I still need you to be more specific about what was told to you.

Type what was written on your receipt about your brake problem.

soon as I get it from him I'll put it up here. Thanks guys. Btw if there are aftermarket alternatives I'd rather take them than oem.

Ok fuck everything else right now...I was on my way out of the neighborhood, I was in 3rd gear slowing down for a stop sign, clutch all the way in and braking. It wouldn't switch into 1st, then I felt the clutch go in a little farther than usual... glrglrglrglrglrglrglrg car moves foward in first, I stop, shut off. NO power. Car runs, switches into all the gears but doesn't connect. Towed it home, sitting in my garage right now very upset. Idk what to do or what to check.

Will it go into gear while the car's running? If not I'd wager on the clutch slave/master went bye bye. Runs normal?

Yah, everything works normal. Pedals feel the same, can shift into any gear with his, just no connectivity. Most likely just going to put a stage 1 clutch in it for good measure. 200 bucks is better than 600+ at the dealer.

I've got a buddy James that used to work at toyota thats prolly gonna come look at it tomorrow, shits weak man...towing a car with only rope and a discovery up beach rd's twistes was...interesting to say the least.

So you mean with car running, you can put it in 1st gear but nothing happens when you release the clutch?
